Sorry to be the downer, but I would get him checked for parasites. I wonder about your vet too, can you see another? Did the vet check for
parasites when you first got your baby? It isn't uncommon for babies to have parasites, and occasionally you may see blood. I am especially worried about the "gel like consistancy" you mentioned. Don't get too worried! My Chibi had parasites, but took medicine and now is O.K.
