I "ran away from home" on my 50th birthday.....my family thought I was just going to Myrtle Beach for a few days to avoid the "Ain't It Nifty....." thing.
But actually I flew to San Juan Puerto Rico and boarded a Celibrity Cruise ship and sailed the Southern Caribbean ALONE for 7 days!!!!!!!!! (MY entire family had no idea what I was doing until I was on the plane and landing in San Juan!!)
It was the greatest experience of my life. I spent hours and hours out on the balcony of my cabin thinking about how great my life has been and recalling all the moments (good and bad) that have made me the person I am today.
I turned 50 years old riding horseback on Barbados!!!!
I came home refreshed, relaxed and changed.......
