Default Sharp Head Shake

Samson was diagnosed with upper respioratory stridor. At first we thought it was a collapsed trachae. He has some slight coughs and makes funny sounds and loud snoring at times. The head shakes last only a second, but they are noisy and I worry about them. I don't know if they are allergies. He does not chew his feet or body like I have seen on some dogs. He eats well and is acitve and healthy otherwise. Any ideas on the hard/sharp head shake?
Thanks,
Don
