Hoo boy, I sure can sympathize since Hoku is the same age. I give her something to chew on whenever she needs to chew. I do not allow her to bite me even a tiny bit - I 'yelp' and if she continues then I 'scruff' her very gently on the neck and she immediately stops.
As for sleeping in the crate, I stick my fingers through the wires but I don't give in to her crying if I know she's already gone potty. She had a rough first week but is getting better and now realizes she has to stay in there at night and when I'm at work.
I'm sure other people have great advice, this is just what works for me right now
