You can start with just rice and ground (free range) beef. If after a few days doing ok, then you can add some finely chopped fresh raw broccoli. If after another few days she is ok, then add some cooked lentils for a few day, then split peas for a few days. (I cook the rice, lentils and split peas together) I also add finely chopped raw carrots. You can use organic lamb and lamb liver. I'd stay away from the chicken. A 1/4 boiled egg is good mixed in this for breakfast. For lunch she could have a tablespoon of cottage cheese mixed with plain unflavored yogurt. Don't worry about buying low fat as long as she has puppy's to nurse. I also cook steel cut oats for my girls. It can be for lunch with the cottage cheese mixture, or a tablespoon over breakfast or dinner.
Once a day add 1 cod liver oil gel cap. You can also add primrose oil, also in a gel cap, but don't give the entire primrose oil in one day. That one gel cap should be good for at least three days.
