What is the age difference between the two litters? If they're old enough to eat the puppy food without tummy upset make sure that you water it down with a bit of formula or cottage cheese this will help to ensure that they're getting all of the nutrition that they need. An excellent quality puppy food is extra important in cases where pups must be weaned early.
