I also made the braid using two colors of fleeceand tied the braid off about 6"from the end. They used to play tug all the time, but they don't anymore. Fact is, they are not playing with any of their toys. They got quite a few new ones for Christmas. I even put all but two away, but they still aren't interested. Kind of sad not to see them play like they did.

I happen to notice at Petsmart this year they had toys made out of the empty water bottles! My yorkies are about the same way they get new toys for Christmas and after playing with them a short time they are done with them. But my golden will turn 11 years old in February and she plays like a puppy! That is about the only time the yorkies want a toy is if the golden has it. They take it run away and drop it.
