Yeah They Are Wood, They Are Called Shadow Box Frames Because They Are Thick But They Do Have A Glass Front, And The Photos In Them Are All Original Photos. There Is Onyl One Thing I Just Thought Of When You Use Them As Frames For Photos You Have To Leave He Small Maybe One Inch Thick Cardboard In There To Keep The Glass From Moving, I Have Them Hanging Now On My Wall Without The Little Cardboard And They Look Fine, I Am Just Letting You Know, But You Can Easily Cut Littel Strips And Circle Them Around Inside.
