Wow, this is so interesting. My baby girl runs around like crazy and does that sort of half-hack, half snorting thing. I'd say it's more like snorting when she is really in one of her crazy moods. Usually in the evening, she goes berserk for a while before bed. Then she snorts and gets really wild especially with the cat. I didn't know that other Yorkies do that. It's good to know tho. The first time she did it, we thought she'd lost her marbles.
Candini, I hope your puppy is okay. That darned kennel cough vaccination (the one they put in their nose) can actually cause some of the little ones to get a mild to severe case of kennel cough. It is required tho for them to go anywhere where there are other dogs, such as the grooming salon or doggie daycare. My Pookie sneezed for a couple of days following the kennel cough vaccine, but she's fine now.
I didn't know the thing about the flap in their throat. That's good information. |
