Well, if your Yorkie is not throwing up or anything, it should be okay. Just make sure that he sticks to what you normally feed him and that he eats it (and doesn't want the human food all the time). There is a bit of baby fat in the tummy area when they are younger, but at least my Yorkie is pretty fit around the tummy area, unless he overeats a LOT, then it feels like a lot of fat.
