 Brushy Creek Investigation UPDATE-2
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we have one interview in the can and two more coming up including a satellite interview. But we would still like others in the Houston-area to come forward to be part of the story. If we want viewers to be outraged, we need as many people as possible in our area to speak up. We don't want people to watch the news story and say, "Well, it looks like only a couple people are that upset by the kennel, so it must not be that big of a deal." Unfortunately, appearances are everything in television. We can talk forever about the complaints at the Better Business Bureau or the comments on Yorkie Talk, but in TV, seeing is believing. If you know someone in the Houston-area who was wronged by Brushy Creek, please encourage them to contact me and set up an interview as soon as possible. It's quick, easy and could make a world of difference in the future of this puppy mill.
Don't get me wrong. We are putting together a very effective and compelling story. But that alone will not necessarily bring the attention needed to stop this operation. As a TV news producer, I am confident our story will be great. As a dog owner, I want it to be better than great. I want it to make a difference. I will continue to post updates. Thanks to everyone!
