My Harvey also sleeps in strange positions - he sleeps balancing on the back of a settee with his hind legs and bum in the air, and his head and chest flat on the chair. He is properly asleep too - I have to watch him in case he falls. We thought he was not asleep at first but he really was for about 15 min.
