I have been using the same kind that my vet reccomended when I first brought pixie home, and they have been awesome! I carry them in my store under "All About Health" if you want to see a picture. They are like scissors with notches cut out on both sides, and they are SHARP! so when you are clipping, you are cutting from both sides, its quick and quite! And they are small, so your hands are right there next to your pups paws and you are in control of the blades not 6 inches away trying to manipulate them. I have used them on the tiny little 4 week old Chi puppy nails and tip my Yorkies and Crested's nails weekly with them.

I like the control, being so close you the paw while working! And the quiet factor is there too! Plus they are so fast and sharp, that you can shave thin layers of at a time if you are unsure of the location of the quick on longer nails...
