Kacee will do this sometimes, too. I've noticed it more this winter, since we can't walk as often and she's super anxious to get out and gooooooooo!
It doesn't seem to be as bad when the weather is nice and we can go more often. I've learned to deal with it, though, by using the retractable leash and shortening it when she pulls and then she gets the idea. They're smart and know what they are doing.
