 How long should a puppy nurse
My little one day old pup is nursing about every 2 hours...sometimes a smidge earlier... but how long should they be on there. She can go anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes...and I have had to pull her off. Is she just using it for comfort at that point. I nursed my little ones and I know at the beginning they would just fall asleep still sucking. The reason I ask is I can't leave pup alone with momma...but I want to make sure she is getting all she needs. She is the only pup. Thank you = ) |
