The owner of that place (I've met him before) KNOWS all the in's and out's. Different rescues have been trying to shut that place down for a long time. Just ask Lenora, I'm sure she knows about it too. That guy knows exactly how far he can push before he gets into trouble. It would take a lot more than a phone call from me to shut that place down. (But yes, I already called the local ASAP and there's nothing they can do. By "law", that pet store isn't doing anything illegal ... although morally they are deplorable.) There are just way too many laws protecting pet stores and not enough protecting the real victims ... the innocent animals.
I wish there was something I could do to REALLY help.
