Wesley is black and gold. I didn't see pics of his parents until after I bought him. His father is dark just like he is. I knew he was going to stay dark because he was jet black and brown all the way down to his skin at 12+ weeks.
Maddie is very light silver. I haven't seen pics of her parents. When we went to see her we knew she was going to be light because her silver was already growing in at 12 weeks.
I would say it is best to see the parents, but also to look at the pup. If there is any light showing, then it will probably turn light. |
