I saw something on Martha a couple of weeks ago about how to make your dog stop pulling. The trainer held a loose leash (to keep the dog at her side) but a firm grip. At the end of their path she had Martha drop a treat on the floor so the dog would have a goal. As she started to walk, anytime the dog would pull she would stop walking and tell the dog "easy" and when she settled down "good girl". Once the dog settled she'd take another step or two. If there was more pulling she'd tug on the leash and say easy, always keeping the dog close to her side. She didn't take more than a couple of steps at a time to enforce that the dog wouldn't be able to walk unless she was calm and not pulling. It really worked on this dog, but she said it's something you have to practice a few times a day to really enforce.

Goodluck! Mine are pullers too and I need to try this method.
