I guess from a business stand point if you're a breeder, you may not be able to keep every dog that you retire. To keep the business flowing they may have to sell or give away the older yorkies to loving families. Not just for money but for space. Over several years you'd have a whole house full of yorkies, I guess you could keep them all with a nice big ranch.
