Call me a skeptic but something doesn't sound right with this story. I'll bet you either an accident happened when the dog was with the groomer or the owner and she wanted the dog replaced free of charge without letting the breeder know the real story. For the groomer to send the wrong dog home and then the owner doesn't recognize his own dog and in addition to that the dog doesn't recognize his owner .......hmmmmmmmm? I smell a rat!
I also happen to have the best groomer in the whole world so maybe that's why I'm so skeptical.
