Yes, today, Chloe became part dog, part machine
I had her microchipped.
I had a lot of fun with my kids, though (12 and 14), when I told them that I had a computer chip inserted in the dog.
"What does that do?"
"It means I can now use her as a computer mouse to log on to webpages; just click her tail."
"nuh uh..."
"yes, really."
My older son was close when he thought it might be some kind of "tracking device" like a GPS. My younger son just thought it was some kind of perverse thing to torture a dog by having a computer chip injected in her. I finally had to break down and explain what it was all about.
But it was fun while it lasted.
