Hello..... I've used whiteners for years, but it's the tray & gel type. The dentist made plastic tray's for about $50 & I can get a syringe of whitener there also for touch ups. I only use it about 3 times a year.........I bought the strips once & didn't like them. The strip was too short, it only covered the front teeth, so the side teeth weren't whitened. I heard that on some people the strip tends to not get in the cracks of your teeth so you can be left with unevenly whitened teeth. Hope this helps, but remember this is my experience w/ the strips, they could be o.k. for you
