My regular packaging is a small white box with paw print tissue paper inside and closed with paw print ribbon. For the recent Valentine's day orders I used the same box but I used the tissue paper that is listed in the picture--1 sheet of red and 1 sheet of white with red hearts. The box is sealed with either a white ribbon with black paw prints on it or a red ribbon.
The treats last about 2 months and they don't require refrigeration. Your free box does not need to be the same flavor as your purchased one. I'm not sure which one is the best flavor--everyone has ordered something different. The flavors that are ordered the most are maxwell's pb smackers, peanut butter carob chip, iced apple cinnabones, and abbie's apples n oats. If you want them for your buddy for the gift exchange please let me know when you will be sending out your package so that I can be sure to get the treats to you in time, as some of the treats, especially the iced ones take longer to make and would require extra drying time.
By the way--the treats that are listed are HARD treats. Many people have asked about soft treats and I'm currently developing recipes for them but the shelf life isn't as long and they would require refrigeration. I'm still experimenting because I want to develop something that will be fresh for longer than a week--even in the refrigerator.
