I use the clicker all the time. Especially when I doing something new.

Little off subject:
I adopted a Border Collie yesterday and my trainer taught this dog to sit, down, fetch, stay(for 10 sec), and turn around with a clicker while I was standing there and watching(over a span of 2 hours). And she will keep what she learned as long as I keep using the command. I think she is smarter than my yorkies but it really didn't take them long to pick up things using the clicker either.

By the way, I should mention she has been training dog for over 30 years and is a dog behavorist. I've been training over 5 years, so training dog isn't something new to me either.
