I use poochie bells...when I first started training Bella i put a LITTLE peanut butter on them to get her to ring them. When she did I would say "outside" and open the door. She soon got the hang of it and would ring them and realized the door would open when she did. She is now 7mo and completely potty trained with them...and has been for some time. We have a set at my parents house too.
