I had an emergency c-section with my first child and chose to have a c-section with my second child. They do take a long time to recover from and like yorkiepip said, dont do very much except for take care of your precious little girl. That is probably all you will feel like doing anyway. My scare goes from the belly button down, so I have a nice little part, shall we say, But I believe that most of them are along the bikini line anymore. I do believe c-section babies are a lot cuter because the shape of the head is not so distorted. Another benefit to a c-setion is that you can request a tummy tuck at the same time if you are in need. They did not offer this when I had my kids but I have heard of it being done these days.
