When I first got Annie I had read a bunch of books and I read that when the scoot on their behinds that it meant they needed to have their anal glands expressed. So the next time we went to the vet I asked him to show me how to do it. But he said just wash her tushy , she just didn't get "a clean poop" So I payed attention the next few times she would be scooting her behind on the ground. And low and behold, she had a loose stool and got some stuck in the hair and was trying to wipe it clean on the foor. Yes our little furbabies like to be clean too So I would just wash her behind for her and that seemed to solve the problem. She is a year old now and I have never had to have her anal glands expressed... So maybe just keep look out for that
