We also felt a lump on Ginger's tummy several months ago and I was very scared. I was expecting for the worst since the lump was hard but on the other hand, i was thinking that it might not be that bad because she was still young (a year and 1/2 during that time). Anyways, I took her to the vet. The vet made a thorough examination but she sais she cannot tell until we get a sample from my baby. The vet obtained a sample of the specimen thru needle aspiration. There was no anesthesia and I can tell that my baby did good. After several days, the vet called me and I was told it was just a benign lump, no need for surgery but will just continue to observe. Right now, we don't feel the lump anymore in her tummy. Goodluck, and I hope it was nothing bad. Keep up informed.
