Hi,

You are right about giardia. Most of the time a dog's immune system will fight it off but in small puppies it can create alot of problems. The giardia caused excessive diaharria which led to the problem of hypoglocemia. Yes the vet definitely said he came with it and being so young etc. it really got the best of him. The vet also said more than likely the mother is a carrier and he got it from nursing. There are lemon laws in Nevada that do hold her responsible so we are just filing in court as we speak. thanks for you interest.
