you can try lots of in door exercise, play ball and even get him to run around alittle in the house. i have a female who hates to go outside when it's cold or raniy and if you live in indy you just got lots of snow, so try to do more inside activities like tug rope and chasing his ball. mine always seem to put on alittle weight in the winter anyways but when spring comes they love to be out doors as much as possible unless its extremly hot then just in the evening when its cooled off abit. this sounds strange but we have a cemetary close by so we take them there so they can run as much as they want to and dont have to worry about leads or the road and they just love it there smelling everything and running ,in some spots the weeds are taller then they are and all you can see is them hopping up and down like rabbits its funny to watch them. so anyways just try the excercise and get him back to his regular diet im sure he will be ok after all he is a growing puppy. merry christmas
