Couple of quick questions to educate myself. I know yorkies are notorious for hypoglocimia which is low blood sugar, simiple honey on the gums can fix this level. But I am confused about the giardia causing hypo. Giardia is a bacteria that humans and animals receive from drinking water that has been contaminated with animal feces. And tape worms are from fleas. All is treatable, but I would be concerned about parents and what condition they were in. Before you purchased the pup did you request photos of sire and dam? I understand pups getting car sick, but not throwing them into dehydration. I would think the breeder after showing vet written confirmation would pay ALL expenses, because obviously they delivered an unhealthy pup. But then again what condition are the parents in? Just curious wanting to educate myself.
