We ship out of lexington. I guess we have shipped a thousand puppies. delta has the cargo area where you go and check yoour pup in. Then there is this huge open ended area under roof but open all around that the dogs are left until shipping time. Some lady was there last time shipping a whole litter of some sort of big dog. they came for them finally with one of those train things they carry luggage on. I felt sorry for them. i don't know how long she had been there when we got there. too bad I can't take but one dog when I deliver mine to LA or i coould take yours. Just go by your gut. A lot of people don't realize how far away from the rest of the world Ky. is. it isn't like shipping across two or three states. At least to me it isn't. I just wouldn't feel comfortable but you might. I can tell you this, the time my flight will be in the air is almost eight hours. That is only flying time. Then I have a layover in the middle. So find out how many times it has to change planes.
