After they test negative you don't have to worry about it. I wouldn't pick it up frozen either. I think it's not necessary. I have a poop eater, my Mi-Ki and he can't eat nor is attracted to frozen poop, no scent. Since I have had 3 dogs arrive with Giardia over a 6 year period, I consider it normal and expect it. However, none ever had any symptoms which is better then a full blown messy Giardia infestation and they never got it again.
