im not an expert, but my chuhuaha and yorkie were both spayed. but they are girls. anyway, after my chuhuahas surgery she was very weak and tired int he car and then i put her in her bed, but she refused. the vet said that she shouldnt jump alot because of the stitches. everything went fine. for my yorkie she was weak at first and I put her with her blanket on the floor with a heater and water next to her. for 3-4 hours she mostly slept. hope this helps and let me know how he is doing after the surgery. wish you and him luck!
