My vet also told me that many time reactions are caused from using a too small needle and having to force it in. This causes inflammation at the injection site, which then allows histamine to enter and mix with the vaccine.

She said that for anything that has caused a reaction in the past, they can start a preventative anti-inflammatory a couple days before as well. I would ask about that as well.

Please also make sure she is only getting one injection per visit....
