 swelling near privates
Hello YT, I have a 9 month old baby girl whom I think has just gone into
heat. She showed some nipple prominence the last few days and today I
noticed slight menstral type bleeding but what is abnormal I think is the swelling between her vagina and anus. This area just popped up all of a sudden and is hard, somewhat red , sl. hot. At first I thought glands but I
can't find anything to suggest there are glands there, the anal ones are
to the side of the anus. I could understand swelling of the Vulva, that would be expected, but this seems abnormal.
Needless to say, I am going to the vet first thing in am but I wonder what
this thing is!! Has anyones' girl every had similar? My bet is a hernia (perineal) but that is just me doing my homework on the internet. She seems ok, very playful, herself. etc.
