Just to chime in with my experience...Cooper had it too when I got him...only could tell from the poop sample, no diarrhea or anything like that. We had him on treatment and we have never seen it again, no flare ups here. He tested negative for it fairly quickly too. So it seems really bad at first, but really it's not THAT bad. Our vet told us they can get it from streams or puddles of water or creeks, so never let them drink from these water sources. It will get better
