You can check the AKC site to find out the exact length...The breeder that I bought Sadie from cut her tail way to short! Actually she has a nub...no tail at all..and Lillie(bought from same breeder) has more of a tail..I told her I wanted a tail...not a nub...I don't plan on showing so it doesn't really matter that much to me. but, I do like the look of some tail.
