We have 2 yorkie girls that are both 2 years old and got a silky boy in December...he is now 17 weeks. The silkies do get a little larger...but one of our yorkies is not small - 8 pounds - and so our new silky will not be but a little bigger.
Silkies are a little shorter, have a longer face and their coats do not grow as long and their hair on the top of their face is actually a 3rd color and is parted to each side - not put up in a topknot.
But personality wise....this little silky boy is just a little love bug and very easy going and a very quick learner - easy to potty train!
If I were you, I would spend some time with adult yorkies and adult silkies....so you can see the differences....because as puppies they are very similar!
