Ok. Here's more of my two cents. If you deposited half or more and can't get the deposit back, then get the dog. If you deposited $100 or whatever then I would keep looking. You'll likely spend more on vet bills since we are 99% sure its a puppy mill pup.
Also, what if your dog was one of those "rented" dogs, or a dog that spent a bunch of time at someone's house for a birthday party. Who knows what was at those houses? I know it would make me sick just thinking about it.
DO NOT take the puppy to the store sponsored Vet if they are offering a "free check-up". Take her to an independent veterinarian who can give you an objecctive opinion.
