I had the same problem too when I brought Ralphie home.I got something which I think is easier to give than Nutracal. Its fructose ( like sugar water) in a syringe. It goes down like water, and Ralphie took to it easier than the Neutracal, which he turned his nose up on.The vet just put some in a plastic syringe, and I have it in case I need it, Like stressful situations.
