I am not impulsive by nature but I did something this week that certainly can fall into this category. I work as a Director of a Womans Crisis Center and its been bursting at the seams. Added to the numbers, we have a really bad flu going thought our city and half the women and children coming into shelter have it. Then my staff started getting sick and I had to cover shifts. Just when I thought nothing could get worse, I found out we had a lice epidemic
Added to all of this, last Wednesday, we were the coldest spot on the planet
. So I came home on Friday and said, thats it, I'm going away for a week... no kids, husband, dogs, job...just me! So I'm off to Jamaica next Sunday. This is the first time travelling by myself. If anyone out there has any tips about traveling alone I'd appreciate them.
