Many years ago we considered adopting a retired racing Greyhound. All that I read about them was so sad..... how they raced for just a while but then had to be retired and there's a group out there that tries to place them in good homes. I hear though that they are just the most laid back couch potatoes! They love to be indoors and just lay around. Not sure if this is true for them at puppy age but what I read about the retired racers said that.
