I would write the letter, I think it will make you feel better. I agree with Michelle, I think sometimes bigger dogs can be a problem so they have to ban all of them, and also a lot of the people I see with big dogs refuse to clean up after them. It hurts all of us.

We were asked to leave an outdoor craft festival too. It was a dinky little town with about 10 tents. We went every year with our dogs and all was fine. Then last summer we were asked to leave because our dog barked at a big dog that charged her. The people with the big dog were not asked to leave. We saw tons of big dogs that were walking around and no one made them leave. We figured that they probably live there and we were spotted as "outsiders". We drove an hour to get there and had to leave as soon as we got there. The cops told us we could stay if we left the dogs in the car. It was in the high 80's and I told him "no way, we are leaving". We decided to not go back there again and find someplace where we are welcome with our babies.
