I give plain old vegetable oil to all the dogs here and have never had any problems with it at all. Plus it has ALWAY made thier coats better and skin softer . It worked great for any that came through with dandruff type skin.
I'm not saying it will grow a SHOWCOAT OR ANYTHING. Just it made their skin way better and the hair a bit silkier. It usually takes about a month before you can really tell anything.
