my rottweiler has arthritic hips she's about 10-11yrs old i have had her sense she was about 6mon. old and she takes rimadyl 100mg they only bother her when it gets really cold and it hurts her to get up and move but after she gets going it gets better i know she wont be around much longer also but i thought that 2 years ago and she's still with us. as long as they have a quality life it's ok to keep them with us but if they are in too much pain and no good quality of life it's time to think about what's best for them not us as hard as that can be!
