That has been the longest 2 weeks in my life, with no internet!

I was staying with a 86 year old Uncle so my cousin and his wife could take a vacation. The man has everything but computer access!

Large nice tv's in 4 rooms, a nice view of the River, peir going out to the river, swimming pool, and a hot tub.

But NO INTERNET!! Oh did I mention that already? lol

I took the laptop, in hopes someone around would have wireless, but couldn't find a signal.

I had internet withdrawls! But he's a very sweet, kind, dear person, and I enjoyed being with him.

My new camea came the 2ond day I was there, and at least I had time to play with it, and learn how to use it. I did get some good seagull shots, and a few pelican shots. I learned the focus on it, since its nothing like any camera I've ever owned. Its a Sony DSC-H5. I really love this thing, it has a 12x zoom on it!

I had to crate Venus after she chewed on the brand new bed in the room I was in! I had to sand her chew spots, stain, and put polyeurythane on them! OMG, I almost died when I saw the damage she did! But I did fix it. All the furniture is new there, because the house got 3 foot of water in it during Katrina. And its also 3 foot off the ground.

We still need to work on her poo. She won't use the pads for poo. I just couldn't see keeping a diaper on her before she chewed the furniture. Probably should have.

Although its about 25 minute ride from here, I feel like I've been gone forever!

So glad to be back home, and have internet again! I sure missed coming here!
