My wife and I are looking for a female Yorkie. We lost one of our best friends last year and though we cannot replace him, we know we have room in our home and our heart to love another. We do have 2 fine Yorkie boys here, ages 2 and 3.
We have no children living at home (all 5 grown and moved out). We do make our own dog biscuits on Sundays (the boys help) and they have their own room in the house (toy chest, puppy beds, etc) though they seem to be with us 23 of the 24 hours a day.
My wife still teaches and I have an office in my home. I travel occasionally, and usually one of them goes with me if possible. We have our own "dog sitter" which we hire when my wife and I travel together on trips (once a year - 4 days) and our oldest son comes over then a lot to visit.
I am giving our background so any breeder reading this understands where their puppies are going. AKC papers and breeding rights are not important to us, though we would appreciate the AKC paperwork for our records. We do not plan to breed, but we are responsible pet owners, 35+ years.
I can travel to pick up puppies. We are looking for a small 4lb to 6lb female. We may be interested in an older puppy (let us know the situation) depending on your breeding schedule.
Thank you in advance for your posts and I hope my wife, the boys, and I, can find a new 'lil sister.

I am unsure how often I can get to these forums to read the responses.
