My sister has an 11 year old pom she bought when he was 6 weeks old. He's her baby! She's taken him to the vet twice in the last week because he's not getting around well. The vet said he has arthritis and gave him meds for pain and to help his joints. He also said that Beau has a collapsing trachea. My sister knows that Beau is an elderly gentleman, and it's breaking her heart to know that his time is limited. I can't explain how much she loves this dog. My sister doesn't make a move without him and she works from home with him at her feet.
