I'm sure this sounds like a cop-out, but if it continues I'd take him to the vet. Eddie came up limping a while back while playing with a neighbor pup. When the limp didn't go away the next day, I took him to the vet. The vet thanked me for bringing him in when it was aggravated so he had something to examine.

Eddie's symptoms have since long gone away, but the vet believes he has a serious injury that will return. I've cut back on his exercise because of it.

I don't mean to scare you, because your injury really does sound like maybe it's just a pull.
